Spring is blossoming and kind, warm weather is inviting us to explore nature and animals as well as to experience learning outside the classroom.
That is why PPVI I, II students and teachers started our spring project “Helping with horses”. Every Tuesday of the remaining school year, if  the weather allows us, we will visit the Horse Resort Stariha.
On Tuesday, 2^nd April 2019, a friendly riding instructor Ana Stariha welcomed us to the ranch. She introduced us to a pony with the name Mini, which we could observe, stroke, brush, nourish and take for a mini walk. Mini showed us how fast it could run in a lap circle. At the end of our fellowship, Kristjan brought her a hay with a wheelbarrow. Full of beautiful impressions we returned to school and we just cannot wait to get back with Ana and her horses again.

On Thursday, 28th March 2019, students of the school’s choir warmed up their vocal cords early in the morning as they headed toward the Music School, where we recorded a Slovene folk song ‘Nadležna muha’.

We were awaited by the members of the cultural and art society KUD Notarima and the sound engineer Jože, who showed us the different recording equipment around the studio and explained the whole recording process. We listened to them very carefully. As for the talented singers, the song was then recorded swiftly, with enough time for us to sit, eat sweets and chat. The entire recording experience was amazing, so we hope to do it again sometime soon.

In the studio of the music school we were awaited by members of KUD Notari and tonic master Jože, who first showed us the recording equipment and explained the course of the recording. With interest, we listened to them and, with their eyes, swallowed the buttons on the mixing table. We then recorded the song very quickly and therefore, we have enough time for sweetening and chatting.

The experience of recording was amazing, so we hope to repeat it soon
